Bio: My name is Abby Cruse. I am the Music Teacher at Coldwater and DeArmanville Elementary Schools. This is my 3rd year teaching for Oxford City Schools. I plan to start graduate school online at Kent State University in the fall. When I’m not teaching, I like to read, travel, build legos, and learn new musical instruments!
Students Kindergarten-4th grade participate in different music activities throughout the year. We use class time to incorporate movement, creativity, and performing in every class. Students practice hard for their annual grade-level performances that are for the public.
Jacket Sing-Sations is an after-school choir program for 4th grade students. Students practice challenging and complex music to perform along with other 4th grade students in Oxford City Schools. JSS performs in their winter and spring concerts along side other OCS events such as Breakfast with Santa and Edible Evening.
